The year of 8 ended with a bang—seriously. No soul lesson went unturned. I feel like I’ve gathered enough self-knowledge to last a lifetime. It was a year abundant with lessons, uncomfortable truths to revisit, and a karmic overload. Manifestations didn’t come easy, but everything we experienced carried a clear reason and karmic tie.

Now, walking into this 9 year, 2025, my focus is shifting. Beyond personal intention, I’m prioritizing intentionality in my work—aligning it more deeply with my well-being.

I've seen others approach this trend with long-form content, explaining every detail at length, but I believe much of this is self-explanatory. Last year was challenging because I found myself overextending to ensure others’ comfort in my work, often at the expense of my own well-being.

When most people hear the word “empath,” they tend to think of someone resembling a stereotypical kindergarten teacher—nurturing and endlessly giving. But being an empath is far deeper than that. It’s about experiencing humanity in a profoundly personal way, absorbing the emotions of others as if they were your own. Many empaths have incarnated many lifetimes (or even have experiences in this one) of being the underdog, cultivating deep compassion.

That said, compassion can’t come at the cost of self-neglect. And if I’m honest, that’s exactly what last year felt like—giving so much to others that I wasn’t prioritizing myself enough and I tolerated a lot from others that I am not proud of.

If you desire a specific behavior from others, you must embody that energy yourself. This year, I’m focusing on inviting more of what truly resonates with me, stepping away from the limitations of perception or the need to cater to others.

I think back to 2016, our last 9-year cycle, which served as a launchpad for so much of who and where I am today. In that sense, I find peace and excitement in endings—they signal it’s time for something new. It leaves me in a state of wonder, looking forward to all that is possible.

If we allow ourselves to be held back by the expectations of others, we risk carrying those same dynamics into future lifetimes, reliving the same patterns. I want to evolve, and I want that for you too.

With confidence, I can say that everything I’ve shared here sits well with my soul.
